Announcing Like Wow Online!

Welcome to Like Wow Online!
Starting with a /~ on Earthlink in 1997, I began launching a wide range of modestly successful hobby and commercial websites, including: a radio station and music store, fashion and culture blog, novelty gift shop, photography gallery, and a consulting firm.
My experience has been fun and educational. I learned not only a great deal about technology, but that I love writing about it for the World Wide Web.
Focusing on industry and technology that power the Web, Like Wow Online! is published in a magazine format to appeal to Web designers and developers, and anyone interested in Web technology.
Thank you for visiting and be sure to subscribe to our latest posts through the RSS feed.

Thank you for the feedback.
I came up with the name after several weeks of research. By the last week I’d narrowed my choices down to 7. In the end, I simply liked the way Like Wow Online sounded. It’s a technology website and many in the field are accustomed to a bit of humor. As for my readers, hopefully they find the name amusing and memorable.
For more on these types of choices be sure to stay tuned to the series Creating a Blog for Fun and Profit. In part 2 I tackle this very topic: Finding the right name.

Hi Shimone,
I was looking at your website tonight (which I always enjoy) and wondering who made all of the food?
Aunt Judy
Hi Judy. Which website are you referring to? Who made the food depends on which site your viewing :) Thanks for stopping by!

Great concept, and great name for this website. How did you come up with the name “Like WOW Online”? What does it mean to you? What do you think it means to your readers/subscribers?
